Location: Remote (within Poland)

Overview

As an AI Engineer at PIB Group, you will work cross-functionally to tackle key business challenges using AI, data, and cloud technologies. Your role will focus on developing, scaling, and maintaining AI solutions, including multi-agent AI systems (LLM-based) for information retrieval, segmentation, analytics, decision-making, and predictive modeling for retention, pricing, and propensity to buy. PIBs AI Team is highly dynamic and hands-on, and we are looking for determined individuals who are eager to take on challenges, continuously improve, and push the boundaries of AI innovation.

This role is based in Poland. We kindly ask that only candidates who currently reside in Poland and have the legal right to work there apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, enhance, and continuously update PIBs Unified Agentic AI as new agents are developed and as technology evolves.
• Deploy predictive ML models reliably and at scale using serverless cloud services on AWS and Azure.
• Develop AI agents capable of executing complex tasks by leveraging LLMs and cutting-edge agentic AI frameworks.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to implement model monitoring, recalibration, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to develop automation solutions for various PIB Hubs.
• Review, optimise, and enhance production environments by integrating the latest technologies.
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI, engineering, data science, and machine learning.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a commercial environment.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, including RAG and agentic workflows.
• Expert proficiency in Python, with strong knowledge of ML libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PySpark, Streamlit, Transformers, PyTorch, and LangChain.
• Strong machine learning and coding fundamentals, including statistical modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, MLflow, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as SageMaker, Glue, Bedrock, Lambda, and Fargate.
