We are looking for a LIMS Developer to work in our Digital Labs DevOps team partnering with Quality Control laboratories across the world. Do you have a passion for IT in a global life sciences environment? Then we would love to hear from you.

What Youll Do

• Working closely with developers to improve LIMS functionality.
• Act as a technical specialist for the Labvantage LIMS application with the LIMS IT DevOps team.
• Deliver new features, application changes and interfaces to other applications through configuration or customization.
• Contributing to various development projects and support rollouts LIMS to new sites.
• Assist with software updates, upgrades, and patches.
• Work with Quality Control teams and other functions to turn new requirements into system designs, deliver and test the solutions to meet the requirements.
• Provide L2 technical support for Labvantage LIMS and associated interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality and configuration.
• Follow IT processes and practice for development, changes and incidents ensuring completeness of all documentation and plans.
  
  

• Knowledge of Java development skills.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience delivering customization/configuration changes in a LIMS application (ideally within Labvantage LIMS) would be beneficial.
• Experience working in a GxP validated environment would be beneficial.
• Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent.
