\nVattenfall IT is looking for Java Developer to join the eMobility backend team. As a team member you will work on building one of the Europe’s fastest growing electric car charging infrastructure networks and will contribute to transitioning transportation standards in Europe to electric cars.

As a team we are responsible for full software lifecycle. We work in Scrum and apply Extreme Programming practices. We develop distributed, clean, quality software with automated test suite, that we run in cloud environment.

\nWhat will you do?

3 main traits that we are looking for:

• Willingness to learn new things. We constantly update our technology stack, so being able to keep up with changes will be extremely important.
• Integrity. Our team members enjoy a high degree of freedom, and our work organization is based on trust. There are pretty much no rules when it comes to organizing work, the vast majority of decisions are taken as a team.
• Energy and “can do” mentality. You are not plain “resource”, we need you to actively contribute.

Our technologies, tools and practices:

• Java 17, Kotlin, Groovy, Spock Framework.
• Spring Framework: Boot, Core, Web, Data, Cloud, Kafka.
• Apache Kafka.
• MS Azure services: Azure Kubernetes Service, PostgreSQL.
• CI/CD, Consumer Driven Contracts.
• Pair/mob programming & code reviews.
• Test Driven Development.

Your profile

Who are you?
\n
\nAs our Java Developer you will bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming (the newer the better).
• Experience with Spring Framework, TDD and OOP.
• Ability to teach and share knowledge.
• Knowledge of DDD, Event Sourcing, Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• Understanding microservice architecture.
• Fluent English.
• Understanding of agile culture and scrum team organization.

Next to this you bring:

• Experience with UI technologies (Angular).
• Knowledge of Kotlin.
