Your role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who:

• designs, implements and supports key functionalities of business critical, highly scalable and cloud native application,
• actively works as a Java developer, but not afraid of leveraging skills to implement test automation framework (70% - feature development, 30% - test automation framework),
• as a member of fully functional team, works on test plans, test scenarios and tracks testing deliveries,
• supports project management with documentation and production of testing status and platform readiness assessments,
• is proactive and ensures the technical and business stakeholders are aware of progress and where they need to help to make the delivery successful.

Your team

You’ll be joining the team in Poland, Wrocław or Kraków, in the IB Cognitive&Communication Services stream. Our mission is to enable an email data refinement, classification and analytical capabilities by leveraging AI/ML techniques at massive scale .
You'll work as part of high performing team of 11 senior software engineers to develop business critical application ready to process hundreds of millions email a year. The team is fully functional and decisive at all lifecycle stages of its products.

Your expertise

• +7 years of professional experience as software developer
• know how to develop complex and scalable applications using Java 17
• developed or designed test automation frameworks using Java or Python
• mindset to understand technical and business details, root-causes of failures or changes
• understand a need of regression and automation suites based TDD frameworks.
• familiar with cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• know how to develop test hooks to monitor code health and system stability
• can identify key product indicators and build analytics that drive new features and improvements
• mindset to implement high quality functional, performance and exploratory tests.
