On this project you will participate on development of new Cellular Modem for 4G/5G networks and beyond. You will be part of very interesting project and aggressive time to market schedule.
Specifically you will work around architecture, design, and implementation of cellular modem L1 control Firmware and PHY algorithms on DSP architectures for 5G NR and future standards.You will collaborate with cross-functional design team members, including digital design professionals, system architects, and algorithm designers.You will design L1 Firmware interfaces that facilitate communication with the protocol stack, RF and signal processing hardware, and create Firmware design specifications. Location: Wrocław, Szczecin or remotely from Poland Competences relevant for this role:

• C/C++ programming language skills
• Proven expertise in wireless systems design and Firmware architecture.
• Experience in Firmware design and development.
• Understanding of DSP architectures.
• LTE/5G NR physical layer concepts and knowledge of relevant 3GPP specifications.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

 Some more nice to have skills (for better understanding of the project context):

• Linux/UNIX system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience with self-hosted configuration management and collaboration tools such as Jama, BugZilla, GitLab
• Expertise with build automation and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting languages skills like Bash and Python for automation tasks
• Familiarity with IT deployment of EDA tools like Cadence, Synopsys is a plus
