Job Description

As Software Engineer for Cloud and Xeon Server Solutions you'll work on the most advanced server platforms in the world, products which fuel every computing center that exists in the world. Sometimes you'll break them, but that's OK, too. You'll design, develop, and run software which enables and enhances Intel hardware for all kinds of clouds - on Prem, hybrid, hyperscale. You will interact with teams across the globe, working on designs, tests, and features to enable the greatest value customers get from Intel products. You'll gain experience in working with a wide array of technologies, from low-level programming, through AI/ML, containers, up to data analytics. You'll also have a chance to work on open source projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications required to be successful:

• Experienced software developer in the C, C++, or Rust programming languages
• Likes breaking things apart to see how they work (re-assembly not required)
• Has knowledge of CPU architectures (x86 and others)
• Has strong Linux Fu
• Familiar with Python, use of containers in development
• Knows version control systems (Git)
• Familiar with product lifecycle methodologies
• Passionate about technology and learning new skills

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
