Python Developer

Opis pracy

We are looking for a skillfull and ambitious Python Developer as a part of a team consisting of:

1 x Fullstack developer (Dev-lead) (Oversees the design and distribution of the development Tasks among the team members)
2 x Backend developers
2 x Frontend developers
1 x DevOps Engineer (overseeing the platform stability and Release plannings)

Responsibilities:

• start onboarding by deep-diving into the current inhouse Content/Document management system
  – Data model
  – Features /inherent design
• Get familiarized with the current Agile ways of working, like Jira and Confluence structure, ceremonies, etc. –> our Agile is a simplified extract of the Framework
• work with Squad Lead and Scrum master to plan a smooth transition to the Develoment lead

Duties:

• The candidate shall plan (smoothly and discretly) taking over the current Dev.-Lead in some 3-6 months .
• After 3-6 months , he/she will oversee all incoming Requirements and distribute the development Tasks in the team
• all incoming requirements should be internally discussed, challenged, understood and the development effort estimated
• all the test cases should be reviewed ahead of any development ! TDD: Test-driven Development –> understand how a feature will be test and then start coding !
• Continously oversee and document the evolution of the Data-objects impacted new feautures and design-evolution , i.e. new attributes, Data-model updates!
• Oversee the quality and bug-reduction

 

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience in Python (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, matplotlib)
• At least 6+ years of experience in SQL
• At least 4-year experience in software development
• Advanced skills and experience with version control and JIRA-like task management
• Ability to communicate effectively
• English at least at B2 leve
