We are searching for a Java software engineer
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland and you will join our Team Corporate Actions.
We are looking for an experienced Java developer in a team located both in DK and PL. It consists of experienced developers and graduates.
The contend is going to be the development of applications according to best practices in cooperation with your colleagues and work according to the agile principles.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Peter Bak-Hansen.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Profound knowledge of Java - 3+ years of experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
- Hands-on experience with design patterns and other software development best practices
- Commitment to producing high quality code with an attention to detail
- Experience in Java software development using the Spring framework,
- Have experience with microservices and containerized applications, using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge about CI/CD, inclusive Jenkins, automated tests and Argo CD.
- Act as a senior developer taking responsibility for succeeding the tasks according to plans.
- Understand the business requirements to implement the best IT solution.
- Be able to adapt business knowledge and design according to these.
- Have a team-oriented attitude.
- Experience in working in an agile setup.
