Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Backend Developer (.NET) to work on a large-scale project for one of our UAE customers.

The customer is dedicated to providing innovative and reliable products and services across the Middle East and Africa. The company offers a wide range of consumer electronics, B2B solutions, and life solutions, aiming to enhance the quality of life and business operations for its customers. In 2014, it was the first company in the UAE electronics industry to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

The project is the migration of two apps from Xamarin to MAUI. Primary focus will be on building and testing the .NET MAUI application based on the defined architecture and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and maintaining backend features and modules.
• Writing clean, and well-documented code using .NET technologies.
• Understanding and supporting Xamarin-based solutions.
• Implementing tailored backend solutions that support platform-specific requirements and integrations.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable APIs to integrate with frontend applications and third-party services.

Requirements

• Experience with .NET development for 3+ years.
• Solid understanding of mobile application development principles for iOS and/or Android platforms.
• Practical experience with cross-platform development frameworks, especially Xamarin.
• Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces in mobile applications.
• Experience with .NET MAUI development.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality code.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.
• Level of English from Intermediate+ and above.
